Redshirt senior Derrell Smith shares his passion for football and an advertising career. The linebacker, who is pursuing a Master's degree in advertising, is Syracuse's leading tackler through two games with 19 and has one forced fumble. He is a candidate for the 2010 Lombardi, Bednarik and Butkus Awards, presented to the nation's top defender and linebacker, respectively, and for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which is presented to a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) senior who excels both on and off the field.
