The Syracuse men's team earned three nominations. The Orange is up for “Game of the Year” for its 8-7 victory over Cornell in the regular season. In a rematch of the 2009 title game, Chris Daniello scored as the horn sounded to lift Syracuse to a thrilling one-goal win at Schoellkopf Field.
Two individuals are up for awards on the men's side. Cody Jamieson is nominated for “Goal of the Year” for his between the legs tally at Johns Hopkins, and senior Jeremy Thompson is nominated for “Breakthrough Performance of the Year” after amassing 23 points along with 46 ground balls on his way to 2010 USILA Second Team All-America honors last year. Thompson came to Syracuse last season after spending two years at Onondaga Community College (OCC).
Former SU women's standout Christina Dove is nominated for “Women's Player of the Year.” She had 97 points in her season, including five game-winning goals.
