Syracuse Sidelines Airs Tonight

Prior to the Orange facing USF on Friday night at the Carrier Dome (8:00 p.m., ESPN2), third-year head coach Doug Marrone will appear on Syracuse Sidelines tonight, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Time Warner Cable Sports.
This week's Orange Profile on Syracuse Sidelines is senior wide receiver Van Chew. Chew has 29 catches for 379 yards and three touchdowns this season, including a 29-yard touchdown reception from Alec Lemon that is nominated for the Geico Play of the Year. Chew has 22 straight games with at least one catch, and his average of 13.1 yards per game is fifth in the BIG EAST. Earlier this season, he became the 16th player in SU history to reach 1,000 career receiving yards
Syracuse Sidelines will also feature an Orange Insider with the SU Sports Medicine staff. Tim Neal, the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine, began his career at SU in 1981. He is responsible for all aspects of the sports medicine program, including preventive training, first aid, injury management and rehabilitation, and programs for drug testing and eating disorders.
Denny Kellington is in his first season as the head athletic trainer for football. He is responsible for all phases of athletic training for the program and also mentors the graduate assistant athletic training staff.
