35 AND COUNTING
Head coach Jim Boeheim enters his 36th season at the helm of the Syracuse program. Boeheim was named the seventh head coach in Syracuse history on April 3, 1976. Since then he has guided the Orange to a record of 856-301 (.740), nine BIG EAST regular-season titles, five tournament crowns and 28 NCAA Tournament appearances. Boeheim, who is one of only eight Division I coaches to have surpassed 800 career victories, is second among active Division I coaches and fifth overall in wins (856). He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005.
NEW FACE ON THE SIDELINES
