SU and Notre Dame play the opening match of the tournament, and the winner will play the winner of No. 1 Louisville and No. 8 Pittsburgh in the semifinals. The Orange lost in four sets to the Cardinals and defeated the Panthers in straight sets during the regular season. Both matches came on the road.
