Jackson Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

Senior forward Rick Jackson has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll this week. Jackson helped the Orange to two victories and averaged 17.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in the contests.
Jackson leads the BIG EAST Conference in rebound average and ranks fifth nationally among Division I performers. He has posted 16 double-doubles this season, including a 21-point, 12-rebound outing at USF on Saturday.
He became the 54th Syracuse player to score 1,000 career points earlier in the campaign.
He has earned a spot on the weekly honor roll five times this season.
#12/13 Syracuse (20-4, 7-4) hosts rival #11/11 Georgetown (18-5, 7-4) square off on Wednesday, February 9, in the Carrier Dome.
