3/13/2011 8:11:04 PM | Men's Basketball
Syracuse University men's basketball fans interested in purchasing tickets to watch the No. 3 seed Orange play Indiana State on Friday, March 18, in the second round (field of 64) of the 2011 NCAA Tournament in Cleveland, Ohio, can order tickets based on the following information.
The single-session ticket price for the second round game on March 18 is $79. Details regarding the purchase of second round tickets will be provided when first round tickets are purchased.
Each participating school is allotted 350 tickets. Additional tickets may become available based on the site and the demand for tickets by the other teams participating at that site. The ticket allotment for each school increases for the NCAA Tournament Regional.
Members of the Orange Club at the Director's level ($5,000) and higher received information earlier this week regarding the purchase of tickets online. If any tickets remain after the online sale to Director's level Orange Club members, they will go on sale to season ticket holders and Orange Club members ($4,999 & below) on Tuesday at 12 noon at the Carrier Dome Box Office. Information regarding the availability of NCAA first and second round tickets for season ticket holders and Orange Club members ($4,999 & below) will be posted on suathletics.com and released to the media on Monday afternoon. Because of the number of tickets allotted for the first and second rounds, there is a two-ticket limit per patron.
Cash or credit card will be accepted on Tuesday at the Box Office. Only first round tickets can be purchased on Tuesday, as the NCAA limits participating teams to only purchase for the next session in which they play.
