Forward Rakeem Christmas and guard Michael Carter-Williams, two members of the Syracuse men's basketball recruiting class of 2011, had solid performances in the 2011 Jordan Brand Classic in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, April 16.
The two future SU teammates led the East Team to a 113-109 victory against the West Team. Christmas started the game and had 12 points, seven rebounds and one block in 24 minutes of work. Carter-Williams came off the bench to contribute one point, five assists and six rebounds while logging 16 minutes.
North Carolina recruit James McAdoo earned co-MVP honors with 24 points and 16 rebounds. He shared the MVP recognition with Kentucky signee Anthony Davis, who tallied 29 points and 11 rebounds for the West Team.
Christmas and Carter-Williams signed National Letters-Of-Intent with Syracuse in November, 2010.
