McNabb To Highlight Gridiron Legends Luncheon Series

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Four-time first-team All-BIG EAST quarterback Donovan McNabb is slated to kick-off the 2011 KeyBank Gridiron Legends Luncheon Series on May 11 at The College Football Hall of Fame. McNabb will join other notable players, coaches and media personalities to reflect on their thoughts, experiences and memories of the game throughout the 15th annual multiple-series event. Two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin will headline the June 28 session.
McNabb etched his name into the top-10 list of nearly every passing record throughout his unprecedented four-year career at Syracuse. He was also tabbed BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year on three occasions. Following his career with the Orange, he was named the BIG EAST's Offensive Player of the Decade for the 1990s and earned a spot on the Syracuse All-Century Football Team.
With 12 years in the National Football League under his belt, his impressive resume, which includes six Pro Bowl selections and 2000 Football News NFC Player of the Year, still continues to grow.
Past speakers in the Gridiron Legends Luncheon series have included Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Bo Jackson, Bobby Bowden, Drew Brees, Mike Ditka, Lou Holtz, Keith Jackson, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning among many others. Luncheons consist of a question and answer session with the featured speaker, a video presentation and lunch. Questions will also be taken from audience members. Tickets for individual luncheons are $35 per person ($25 student rate) or $270 for a table of eight. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 574-235-5735. Each luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m.
