Former Syracuse football offensive tackle Adam Terry has signed with the Tennessee Titans. The 6-foot-8 335-pound veteran was originally a second-round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2005, and spent four seasons with the franchise before being placed on injured reserve in 2009. The Queensbury, N.Y. native has also played for the Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
In five seasons in the National Football League, Terry has started in 18 of the 50 career games he has appeared in. His best season came in 2007 with Baltimore when he played in 13 games, earning the start in nine.
Terry was a three-year starter with the Orange at tackle, and earned First-Team All-BIG EAST and ECAC Division I All-Star honors during his senior campaign. As one of 13 players to start all 12 games for SU in 2004, Terry won SU's Ben Schwartzwalder Exemplary Football Player Award.
Terry becomes the second former SU football player in as many weeks to sign with Tennessee. Anthony Smith joined the Titans as an unrestricted free agent on August 9.
