
Three More SU Games Selected for TV

The addition of three Syracuse football games to the television schedule means that the first five games of the season will be broadcast. As of today, eight of 12 Orange games are slated for the airwaves. SU's home game against Rhode Island on September 10 will kick off at 4:30 p.m. and will be televised on Time Warner Cable and SNY. The next two home games, against Toledo (Sept. 24) and Rutgers (Oct. 1) are BIG EAST Network selections and will kick off at 12:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
The Orange begin the season against Wake Forest (ESPN3) in the Carrier Dome on Thursday, September 1 (8:00 p.m., ESPN3). After playing Wake Forest and Rhode Island at home, the Orange will travel to California to play at USC on September 17 (FX network). The 2011 home schedule also includes games against West Virginia (Oct. 21, 8:00 p.m., ESPN or ESPN2), South Florida (Nov. 11, 8:00 p.m., ESPN) and Cincinnati (Nov. 26).
Syracuse's road schedule features games at Tulane (Oct. 8, 8:00 p.m. ET), at Louisville (Oct. 29), at Connecticut (Nov. 5) and at Pittsburgh (Dec. 3). The regular-season finale at Pittsburgh will be nationally televised on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
All tickets, including season tickets and individual game tickets, can be ordered online and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOMETIX).
The team reports for preseason camp on Thursday, August 4.
