Classes are in full swing at Syracuse University and the campus is buzzing in anticipation of the year to come. Students are wearing their school colors and now Syracuse fans can show their school spirit by wearing Orange gear as part of the seventh annual 'College Colors Day' celebration. Support the start of the Syracuse season by shining bright in your Orange apparel.

The yearly celebration, which coincides with “back to school” and the start of the college football season, seeks to celebrate and promote the spirit that make college traditions great by encouraging fans, alumni and students to wear the attire of their favorite college. So look through your closet, pull out your Orange gear and add some excitement to your day.

'College Colors Day,' in partnership with NCAA football, is an annual celebration dedicated to promoting the traditions and spirit that embody the college experience by encouraging fans across America to wear their favorite college or university apparel throughout the day on Friday.

SU kicks off the 2011 season on Thursday, September 1 against Wake Forest in the Carrier Dome (8:00 p.m., ESPN3). Individual and season tickets are available online and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (1-888-DOMETIX). Season tickets start at $99. The SU Kick-off Pack, which includes one ticket to the home-opener against Wake Forest and the BIG EAST opener against Rutgers (Oct. 1, 12:00 p.m., BIG EAST Network), starts at $50.
