Prior to the Orange taking on USC on Saturday night at the L.A. Coliseum (8:00 p.m. EDT, FX Network), third-year head coach Doug Marrone will be on Syracuse Sidelines tonight beginning at 7 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Sports to preview the upcoming game.
This week's Orange Insider is senior running back Antwon Bailey. Bailey is one of three captains on this year's squad, and posted a career high 25 carries for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener against Wake Forest. The Landover, Md. native had a career long 53-yard touchdown run against the Demon Deacons, as well.
Syracuse Sidelines will also feature a behind the scenes look at the Orange's strength and conditioning program. William Hicks, the assistant athletics director for athletic performance, has been at SU since 2000 while Hal Luther has served as the director of strength and conditioning since 2007. The two work with the football program to provide in-season strength training and nutritional programs as well as personalized off-season training regimens for year-round physical development to optimize performance and reduce the likelihood of injury.
SUAthletics.com will stream Syracuse Sidelines live throughout the football season for Orange All Access subscribers. Fans can sign up for Orange All Access online, with subscriptions ranging from $5.95 for a 24-hour pass, $9.95 per month or $79.95 per year.
SU travels to USC this weekend for the first time since 1924 on Saturday, and will return to the Carrier Dome on September 24 to host Toledo (12:00 p.m., BIG EAST Network). Individual and season tickets are available for the game online, at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B) and by phone (888-DOMETIX). Season tickets start at $99, while the Time Warner Triple Play Pack, which offers one ticket to any three home games, starts at $72.
