Junior goaltender Kallie Billadeau, redshirt freshman forward Laurie Kingsbury  and sophomore forward Shiann Darkangelo were recognized by the CHA this week. Billadeau was named the CHA Goaltender of the Week while Kingsbury was tabbed the Rookie of the Week. Darkangelo was listed on the CHA Honor Roll. The Orange (3-3-0, 2-0-0) split its weekend series with Quinnipiac, losing 3-2 in overtime on Friday and shutting out the Bobcats, 4-0, on Saturday.

Billadeau recorded her second shutout this season, 4-0, against Quinnipiac on Saturday, recording 29 saves against the Bobcats. In both of her starts this season, she has recorded a shutout. She now has four career shutouts and a career GAA of 2.96 and save percentage of .906. This is Billadeau's third time being honored as the CHA goaltender of the week.

Kingsbury extended her point-streak to six games this past weekend after registering the primary assist on Shiann Darkangelo's second period goal and scoring a goal in the third period against Quinnipiac on Saturday. On Friday, Kingsbury scored a goal in the second period in the 3-2 overtime loss. Kingsbury notched two goals and one assist this weekend and leads the Orange offense with five goals and four assists for nine points and is a team-high +9. This is the first Rookie of the Week accolade of her career and she was named to the CHA honor roll the past two weeks.

Darkangelo scored two goals against Quinnipiac on Saturday, helpÂing Syracuse to a 4-0 victory. Her first goal of the game in the second period served as the eventual game-winner. Darkangelo has totaled three goals and two assists so far this season and is a +6.

The Orange kick off five-straight road games this weekend when it travels to Connecticut on Friday, Oct. 26th (7 p.m.) and Saturday Oct. 27th (3 p.m.).
