Triche Earns BIG EAST Weekly Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior guard Brandon Triche was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after tallying a team-high performance against Wagner (0-2, 0-0) on Sunday afternoon in the Carrier Dome.
Triche led the #6/6 Orange offense (2-0, 0-0) in an 88-57 victory against the Seahawks with 21 points, including two dunks and seven rebounds.
He has started in both games in 2013 and scored 36 points as the Orange's leading scorer. Triche has totaled double-digit points against every regular season opponent this year. He has also recorded 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals so far this season.
Triche and the rest of the Orange will be back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 21 (7 p.m.;Time Warner/SNY) taking on Princeton in the Carrier Dome.
