Nike has designed special uniforms and sneakers for Syracuse to wear when the #9 Orange play #20 San Diego State in the Battle on the Midway on November 11.
The game is being contested on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Midway in San Diego. It is being televised by Fox Sports San Diego and is available nation-wide on various Fox Sports Regional Networks.
It will mark the season opener for Syracuse and San Diego State. The two programs have met once previously -- the Orange defeated the Aztecs in a 2007 NIT game at the Dome, 80-64.
