Pacific loaded the bases in the bottom of the first inning and then had two consecutive singles and a ground out to second base to jump ahead 3-0.
The Tigers would then surge ahead 4-0 in the second inning. Starting SU pitcher Stacy Kuwik hit the leadoff batter Megan Allen and then she was sacrificed over to second. After a passed ball advanced her to third, Allen was brought home on an RBI single.
L. Daniels would then get one back for SU in the top of the third with a solo shot to lead off the inning. It was her first round-tripper of the season and the seventh of her career.
Daniels would also score the second run for SU in the fifth when she reached via a walk, advanced to second on a throwing error, and was brought in by Jasmine Watson's RBI single.
