Joseph averaged 16.5 points in two games last week

JOSEPH NAMED TO BIG EAST HONOR ROLL

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Orange senior forward Kris Joseph was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for his performances against South Florida and Connecticut this past week.
Joseph paced the #2/2 Orange (29-1, 16-1) against South Florida last Wednesday in a hard-fought 56-48 win. He had 12 points and nine of the Orange's 30 total rebounds in 36 minutes of action to help Syracuse pull away from the Bulls. He then posted a game-high 21 points on 8-for-15 shooting, to go with seven rebounds and two steals in 35 minutes as Syracuse defeated Connecticut 71-69 on Saturday.
Joseph has started every game this season and leads the balanced Orange scoring attack with 14.2 points per game on 44 percent shooting. He also leads the team in time on the floor, averaging 31.2 minutes per game.
Joseph and the BIG EAST champion Orange will play their last regular season game this weekend on Saturday against Louisville (Saturday, 4:00 p.m., CBS). Syracuse's five seniors will be honored before the game as a part of Senior Day.
