2012 MLL All-Star Rosters
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Five Syracuse University men's lacrosse alums will take the field for the 2012 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) All-Star Game on Saturday, June 30 at FAU Stadium in Palm Beach County, Fla.
Stephen Keogh (Hamilton Nationals), Jovan Miller (Charlotte Hounds) and Joel White (Rochester Rattlers) will represent the “Young Guns,” while Steven Brooks (Chesapeake Bayhawks) and Casey Powell (Hamilton Nationals) are members of “Old School.”
Saturday's all-star game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com.
Keogh, Miller, and White were teammates at SU from 2008-11. They helped the Orange forge a 60-8 record in those four years and win two national championships (2008, 2009).
Keogh leads the Nationals with 13 goals this summer. As a midfielder for Charlotte, Miller has produced solid all-around numbers with nine goals, 15 points, and 12 ground balls. White has three goals and a team-best 22 ground balls as a defensive midfielder for the Rattlers.
Brooks was also a member of SU's 2008 NCAA championship team. Now a midfielder for the Bayhawks, he has helped catapult Chesapeake to the top of league standings. Brooks leads the club in goals (17) and ranks second in points (24).
Powell has four goals in three games thus far for Hamilton.
