With less than 72 hours before the 2012 Orange take the field, Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone breaks down the offense and defense with Voice of the Orange Matt Park on Orange All Access.
The fourth-year head coach talks about the importance of the Orange faithful, who he calls 'assistant coaches' and the depth Syracuse has on both sides of the ball. In additoin, Marrone provides updates on the health status of offensive tackle Justin Pugh and wide receiver Alec Lemon.
The 2012 Orange open the season against Northwestern in the Carrier Dome on Sept. 1 (12 p.m., ESPN2). All fans who have a New York State Fair ticket are invited to purchase a ticket for the football game for $10 either at the Syracuse Athletics booth in the Time Warner Building at the NY State Fair or at the Carrier Dome Box Office. The offer expires Friday, August 31. Season and individual game tickets are available online, in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B), or by calling 1-888-DOMETIX.
The Orange will play Southern Cal in New York's College Classic at MetLife Stadium on September 8. Tickets and travel packages for the New York's College Classic are available at www.nycollegeclassic.com.
