As the NFL heads into its fourth week of the 2012 season, many former Syracuse players are continuing to have a major impact on their teams. Brothers Chandler Jones (New England Patriots) and Arthur Jones (Baltimore Ravens) had played their first NFL game against each other, with the Baltimore Ravens coming out victorious, 31-30. Â

Playing on the Raven defense with Arthur, the third year defensive tackle, was linebacker Jameel McClain. McClain recorded two tackles against New England. The Patriots boast the most former Syracuse football players on their roster with three. Against his brother's team, Chandler recorded two tackles. The rookie has started all three games at defensive end for New England. Safety Steve Gregory notched four tackles at the Ravens and had an interception for 36 yards. Cornerback Will Allen was placed on injured reserve on Aug. 27th.

The New York Giants recorded a 36-7 win at Carolina under the direction of former Orange halfback, Tom Coughlin.
