Orange Lacrosse on the Air in 2013

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Eleven of the Syracuse men's lacrosse team's 14 regular-season games will be televised this season, including five appearances on ESPN platforms as part of the network's 2013 college lacrosse coverage. Highlighting the schedule is SU's April 10 home game versus Cornell, which will air live on ESPNU as part of the new "ESPNU Wednesday Men's Lacrosse Game of the Week" package.
In addition to that appearance, Syracuse will play four more times on ESPNU and ESPN3. ESPNU will air the Orange's March 16 home date with Johns Hopkins, the team's road game at Princeton (April 6) and the team's April 27 matchup with Notre Dame at the 2013 Konica Minolta Big City Classic. ESPN3 will carry the Whitman's Sampler Independence Classic on March 9, which includes Syracuse versus St. John's.
For the second straight year, ESPN has agreed to carry the entire BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Championship, which takes place from Thursday, May 2 to Saturday, May 4 at Villanova. ESPNU will air Thursday's first semifinal and Saturday's tournament championship game live. Thursday's second semifinal will be carried live on ESPN3 and shown via tape-delay on ESPNU.
The top four teams in the BIG EAST standings advance to the conference championship tournament.
Syracuse's six remaining home games will air live locally on Time Warner Cable Sports (TWCS).
