Following her second hat trick of her career against Colgate, sophomore forward Shiann Darkangelo was named the CHA Player of the Week. Both junior goaltender Kallie Billadeau and freshman forward Melissa Piacentini were honored by the CHA as well after being named to the CHA Honor Roll. The Orange blanked Colgate, 6-0, this past Tuesday, before falling at No. 7 Mercyhurst, 1-0 and 4-1, this weekend.

 Darkangelo scored her second hat trick of her career and third in the history of SU in the OrÂange's 6-0 shutout against Colgate. Darkangelo has a team-high 11 goals this season while notching four assists for 15 points. Two of her tallies this season were on the power play while she is tied for first in game-winning goals with two. She has been named to the CHA Weekly Honor Roll twice so far this season.

Billadeau recorded her fifth shutout of the season, and seventh of her career, against Colgate in a 6-0 win this week. She was the starting goaltender in all three of SU's games this week and registered a GAA of 1.68 and a save percentage of .941. Overall this season, Billadeau has a GAA of 1.49 and a save percentage of .941. Billadeau has garnered CHA Weekly Honor Roll accolades three times this season as well as being named the Goaltender of the Week twice (Oct. 22 and Nov. 25) as well as being honored as the Goaltender of the Month for October.

Piacentini had a three point week this week against Colgate and No. 7 Mercyhurst. Piacentini dished out two assists in SU's 6-0 win against Colgate. She also had the helper on the Orange's only goal against No. 7 Mercyhurst on Saturday. Piacentini ranks third on the team in points and leads SU's rookies, with five goals and nine assists. This is Piacentini's second time on the honor roll and she was named the Rookie of the Week on Nov. 25th.

The Orange continue its five-game road swing, traveling to No. 4 Cornell tomorrow, Tues. Jan. 15, at 7 p.m. and then visiting CHA opponent, Lindenwood, on Friday, Jan 18, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m.Â
