Â
For the second straight day, SU jumped out to an early lead. Brooks opened the scoring 5:20 into the contest when she tipped in Karlee Farr's pass that was redirected off a Lindsey Nerbonne shot.
Â
The Orange made it 2-0 just over three minutes later, in the ninth minute, when Serra Degnan drove home the rebound of Leonie Geyer's shot on a penalty corner. It was the freshman's fourth goal of the season and second of the weekend.
Â
