BRING YOUR HAT
• Big individual offensive efforts have become routine for the Orange in 2013 as three different players have recorded hat tricks with three-goal games.
• Junior forward Lauren Brooks was the first to accomplish the feat, scoring three goals to lead Syracuse to a 6-2 victory vs. Kent State at Michigan State's Ralph Young Field on Sept. 8. It's her career-high in goals.
• Next up was senior midfielder Leonie Geyer, who scored three goals, all on penalty strokes, to lead the Orange to a 4-1 victory over No. 4 Virginia on Oct. 5 at Coyne Stadium for SU's first ever ACC win. It was her second career hat trick. She scored four goals against Vermont in 2011.
• Syracuse's third hat trick came the day after the second as freshman Karlee Farr quadrupled her season goal total with three in the Orange's 8-1 win vs. Monmouth on Oct. 6 at Coyne Stadium. She came into the game with one career goal in 10 games played.
• Prior to the three hat tricks this season, Syracuse's last were when Geyer scored four and Heather Susek had three goals in a 12-0 win vs. Vermont on Oct. 16, 2011.
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME CHARTS
• Leonie Geyer continues to climb the Syracuse all-time  record book.
• Her 11-point performance on the weekend of Oct. 5-6 ran her career point total to 105, making her the fourth player in SU history to reach triple digits. Now at 107 points, she is five behind third-place Lindsey Conrad's (2008-10) 112.
• Geyer has 12 assists on the season, running her career total to 41, placing her third in Syracuse history. Next up is Maggie Befort (2007-11) with 48.
• With 10 goals this season, Geyer now has 33 in her career, putting her one spot out of the top 10 all-time at SU. Jodi Carter (1992-95), Kelly Hambleton (1996-99) and Megan Koons (1996-99) all had 34, tied for ninth.
