SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Orange fans will get their first look at the 2013-14 version of the Syracuse men's basketball team on Friday, November 1 when it hosts Holy Family in the Carrier Dome. The exhibition opener is set for 7 p.m.
Tickets for Friday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Fans not in attendance can watch the game live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel across New York State. In addition, the game will be streamed live on a pay-per-view option separate from Orange All Access. In New York State, only markets without Time Warner Cable service will be able to access the pay-per-view option.
The Orange finished the 2012-13 season with a record of 30-10 and made the school's fifth Final Four appearance. For the first time in program history, Syracuse posted back-to-back 30-win seasons. Senior C.J. Fair led SU in scoring and rebounding a year ago when averaged 14.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
Holy Family is coached by R.C. Kehoe, who spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Delaware prior to taking over the Tigers' program prior the 2011-12 campaign. Last season Holy Family finished with an 18-10 record for its first winning record in four years. The Tigers return four of their top five scorers from last season, including Ervin Ezell, who averaged 16.9 points per game in 2012-13.
