PITTSBURGH -- After playing three consecutive home games, Syracuse goes on the road this weekend to take on Pittsburgh on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. Both teams are 4-7-1 overall and looking for their first Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) win of the season.
THE SERIES
The Orange will face the Panthers for the 16th time on Sunday. Syracuse leads the all-time series, 9-3-3.
Last year, sophomore Erin Simon (Oakhurst, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST honor roll for her performance in the Orange's 2-0 victory against Pittsburgh.
FRESHMAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE CAUSE
Four members of Syracuse's freshman class have started at least one game this season. Overall, five freshmen have made their collegiate debuts in 2013. The newcomers have made an immediate impact. The freshmen have accounted for six of SU's 13 goals (46.2 percent) this season and three of the 11 assists (27.3 percent).

The Orange will host the undefeated Florida State Seminoles on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. Admission is free of charge.
