Syracuse is coming home to finish the regular season, playing the final two games of its inaugural ACC schedule in the Carrier Dome. The Orange will take on familiar faces in Pittsburgh and Boston College in the next two weeks, starting with the Panthers Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12:30 p.m. (ACC Network).
Â
"The last two games are two schools that we've played for years and I know our fans will be excited about that," head coach Scott Shafer said. "It will be great to get back in the Dome, get those kids running around out there and finish this thing up strong as we go into this Pitt game and as we finish this season off with Senior Day. We've got a great bunch of seniors that put their hearts into this thing and we want to send them off right. The first one up is this Pitt game and we're excited about it."
Â
Syracuse and Pittsburgh are both 5-5 overall. The Orange is 3-3 in ACC play. The Panthers are 2-4. Both sides are one win away from becoming bowl eligible.
Â
One of SU's oldest rivalries, this will be the 69th all-time meeting between the Orange and Panthers. The two teams have played every year since 1955 with Pittsburgh holding a 34-31-3 lead in the series. Syracuse emerged with a 14-13 home victory in last year's pairing.
