C.J. Fair posted double-digit scoring in both Orange victories last week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After helping #6/7 Syracuse (20-3, 8-2) to a 2-0 week with two standout performances, junior C.J. has earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league this morning.

Fair led the Orange offense with his seventh double-double of the season in the 63-47 victory against Notre Dame tallying 18 points and 10 rebounds. He then returned to the helm of the offense with teammate Michael Carter-Williams in the 77-58 triumph against St. John's, posting 17 points and grabbing a team-high nine rebounds.

Averaging 14.0 points per game, Fair has notched 322 points this season, making him the second highest SU scorer on the roster. The accolade marks his second conference weekly honor this year, as he was named Player of the Week on Jan. 14.

Fair and the rest of the Syracuse men's basketball team will hit the road this week, traveling to Connecticut to take on the Huskies in Hartford at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13.
