
Student Section Up For Naismith Award

Syracuse is one of 16 schools to have advanced to the semifinal round of the Naismith Student Section of the Year Award.
The list of 16 will be paired to eight finalists by fan vote which is underway and continues through Feb. 22. The Naismith Board of Selectors will then choose the winner, which will be announced on March 8.
The winning school will receive $10,000 for its general scholarship fund. The award is presented through a partnership between The Collegiate Liscensing Company (CLC), an affiliate of IMG College, and the Atlanta Tipoff Club. The Atlanta Tipoff Club also administers the Naismith Awards.
