Nike/Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Poll | USILA Poll

BALTIMORE – The Syracuse men's lacrosse team is ranked third in this week's Nike/Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Poll and fifth in the most recent USILA Coaches' Poll. Both sets of rankings were released on Monday, April 29. The Orange returned to the top five for the second time this season following Saturday's 10-4 win against Notre Dame at Konica Minolta Big City Classic.

The Orange garnered 378 points and received one first-place vote in in the media rankings. Syracuse trails No. 1 North Carolina, which took over the top spot after winning the ACC Tournament, and No. 2 Cornell.

The Tar Heels are also No. 1 in the coaches' poll. Cornell, Denver, Loyola and Syracuse round out the top five in the coaches' rankings.

The Orange faces Notre Dame for the second time in six days on Thursday, May 2. The rematch is the first of two BIG EAST Championship semifinals at Villanova Stadium. Faceoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
