Onuaku Big On The Boards In Summer League Play

Former Syracuse center Arinze Onuaku grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and added seven points as the Phoenix Suns topped the Portland Trail Blazers 82-69 on July 13 in the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League.
Onuaku, who spent last season with the Canton Chargers of the NBA Development League, ranked fifth in the league with 9.5 rebounds per game and a 56.0 field goal percentage, while scoring 12.6 points per game. The center was named to the Futures All-Star roster for the 2013 NBA D-League All-Star Game.
A pair of former Orange men squared off on Saturday when Andy Rautins and the Chicago Bulls took on Donte Greene and the Memphis Grizzlies. Rautins, who led the D-League with 150 made three-pointers and a 43.5 three-point field goal percentage, tallied six points on 2-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc with three rebounds and two assists in the Bulls' 81-67 win. Greene chipped in with three rebounds in the loss for the Grizzlies.
Playing for the Milwaukee Bucks Summer League entry, Demetris Nichols scored five points to help the Bucks to an 88-74 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
After averaging 7.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in five contests with the Philadelphia 76ers Summer League team, undrafted free agent James Southerland made an appearance for the Golden State Warriors and had a steal in their 56-52 win over the Washington Wizards.
