
Arinze Onuaku ranks sixth with 9.7 rebounds per game in the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League
Onuaku Posts Double-Double In Summer League Win

Former Orange center Arinze Onuaku recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds to help lead the Phoenix Suns to a 100-88 win over the Memphis Grizzlies during the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League on July 16.
With the win, the Suns were one of four teams to finish preliminary games with a perfect 3-0 record, while earning the third seed in the inaugural NBA Summer League Championship. Through three games, Onuaku is averaging 9.7 rebounds per game, which ranks sixth, and 8.0 points per game, while shotting an astounding 69.2-percent from the field.
Opposite of Onuaku was former teammate Donte Greene, playing for the Grizzlies. Greene had his best performance of the summer, tallying a team-high 18 points, with three baskets from behind the arc and six rebounds.
Andy Rautins saw his time increase on Tuesday, playing 33 minutes in the Chicago Bulls' 80-78 overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers to improve to 3-0 and earn the second seed. Rautins scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting with a pair of three-pointers, three rebounds and two steals.
Another pair of former SU standouts went head-to-head as James Southerland and the Golden State Warriors topped Demetris Nichols and the Milwaukee Bucks 84-72. The Warriors also finished preliminary play 3-0 and grabbed the first overall seed for the Championship. Southerland notched six points, going 2-of-3 from long range and added a blocked shot. Nichols finished with four points, two blocks, a rebound and a steal in the loss.
Preliminary games have been completed and the single elimination tournament begins on Wednesday, July 17, with the championship game on July 22.
