SAAC Prepares for 2013-14

More than 20 student-athletes gathered for the inaugural Syracuse Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) meeting in preparation of the 2013-14 school year. The group meets twice a month and works to enhance the overall student-athlete experience.
This year's SAAC officers are president Aleah Marrow (tennis), vice president Derek DeJoe (lacrosse), treasurer Shirley Daniels (softball) and secretary Ashley Keyes (track & field). In addition, Miriam Ward (rowing), La'Shay Taft (basketball), John Kinder (football) and Jon Dawson (rowing) will serve as committee chairs in 2013-14. Mark Trumbo and Elena Paolini from the Academic Development staff serve as co-advisors to the group.
