SYRACUSE, N.Y.—Syracuse hosts Wagner in the first home game of the season on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 4:00 p.m. (ESPN3.com). The Orange (0-2) is looking for its first win of the season and the Seahawks (1-1) hope to upset the only FBS school on their schedule.
All Syracuse fans are invited to participate in 'Take a Kid to the Game Day', an opportunity for a free youth ticket for every adult ticket purchased to the Wagner game. Season ticket holders are also eligible for free youth tickets. Call 1-888-DOMETIX for assistance in obtaining youth tickets.

GAME OVERVIEW
• Syracuse will host FCS opponent Wagner (4:00 p.m./ESPN3) in its home opener Sept. 14 at the Carrier Dome after two straight games away from home.
• Live video of Saturday's game is available on ESPN3. Shawn Kenney (pxp), John Bunting (analyst) and Cat Whitehill (sidelines) have the call. Chris Ackerknecht is the producer.
• The Orange is still searching for its first win of 2013 after consecutive losses to Big Ten opponents Penn State and Northwestern to open the year.
• Wagner carries a record of 1-1 into the contest. The Seahawks started the year with a 28-21 home win against Georgetown then lost a 42-41 shootout to Merrimack on Sept. 6 in the first night game ever at Hameline Field.

• Saturday is 'Take a Kid to the Game Day' at the Dome. All children under 12 will be admitted free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

SUCCESS AGAINST THE FCS
• The Orange is 11-0 against Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) opponents, formerly Division I-AA, since the NCAA's 1978 separation of major college football programs into two divisions.
• The streak includes a perfect 10-0 mark against FCS opponents in the Carrier Dome (see right).
• The Orange has won its last 29 games against current FCS members (streak pre-dates the 1978 separation into two divisions).
• The team's last loss to a current FCS school at any point in its history occurred on Oct. 4, 1958 at Holy Cross, 14-13.
• Colgate has been the most frequent FCS visitor to the Dome, making four trips there since 1981.

ORANGE IN HOME OPENERS
• Syracuse is 85-32-4 * all-time in home openers, and 16-17 in home openers since the Carrier Dome opened in 1980.
• The program's longest unbeaten streak in home openers was 49 games from 1894-1942 (47-0-2).
• The Orange has won two of its last three home openers, defeating Maine in 2010 and Wake Forest in 2011. Northwestern beat the Orange in last year's Dome starter, 42-41.
