Syracuse head football coach Scott Shafer is encouraging the SU student body to fill its reserved section at the Carrier Dome on Saturday, September 24, for the game with Tulane. To help achieve that goal, the athletics department has announced that all full-time SU students will be granted free admission.
"Nothing would help our team more than a full and loud student section in the Dome on Saturday" noted Shafer. "We encourage all SU students to come out and be our 12th man against Tulane."
Students who already have a ticket to Saturday's game can benefit by earning a free ticket to any of the other football home games or non-conference men's basketball games at Syracuse this season.
Syracuse is coming off a 54-0 victory against Wagner last Saturday. Tulane represents the final non-conference game for the Orange this fall.
