The Syracuse men's basketball program hosted the 3rd Brigade Combat Team (3BCT) at practice on Thursday, continuing a relationship developed with the soldiers stationed at Fort Drum.

The 3BCT is deploying a second time to Afghanistan this spring for another tour of duty. On Thursday they took a break from training to watch the nationally-ranked Orange train at the Carmelo Anthony Practice Center. The soldiers were able to watch a full practice, take some shots of their own, and then share a meal with the SU team.

In addition to attending the Syracuse practice and interacting with the team afterwards on Thursday, the 3BCT is scheduled to be represented at Saturday's game between the #2/2 Orange and #22/21 Pittsburgh in the Carrier Dome.
