
Orange Welcome Back Alumni Saturday

More than 20 former players and coaches will be honored when Syracuse hosts Boston College.
The Syracuse women's soccer program will welcome back former players and coaches when it hosts Alumni Day on Saturday, October 4. The group will be honored when the Orange takes on Boston College at 7 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium.

The Orange women's soccer program began play in 1996 under the direction of head coach April Kater. SU finished that season with a 10-6-1 record. Two years later Syracuse advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time where it defeated Colgate, 4-1, in the first round.

Kater will return for Alumni Day along with former assistant coach Maren Rojas. The list of former student-athletes returning includes all-time leading scorer Erin O'Grady as well as members of two of the last three graduating classes.
