Otto the Orange needs you Orange Nation! Coming off a narrow loss in the Capital One Mascot Challenge, this week Otto (4-5) takes on Cocky the Gamecock from South Carolina in a key matchup with playoff implications as the regular season winds down.
This week's challenge is PUMPKIN CARVING! Take a picture or video of your carved pumpkin and upload it to give Otto 100-points. Remember, the photos must be uploaded to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #CapitalOneOtto in order to be counted. For a 50-point vote, simply post to Facebook or tweet what you think Otto's pumpkin would have carved into it, using #CapitalOneOtto.
In week nine of the challenge, Otto (49%) lost a tight battle to Benny Beaver (51%) from Oregon State in a fall out challenge. Cocky (48%) is coming off a loss vs. Aubie the Tiger (52%) from Auburn.
The challenge is a 16-week program, consisting of a 12-week regular season and four-week playoff. Otto will compete in weekly head-to-head match-ups against another school's mascot, with the winner determined by which tallies the most points that week. Match-ups are announced every Monday morning, along with "challenges" for the fans.
After uploading, your photos/videos may be featured on Capital One's gallery as well as at Cuse.com's Social Stadium!
