SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse begins a stretch of three consecutive home games on Monday, Dec. 22 when it welcomes Central New York foe Colgate to the Carrier Dome. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.

Tickets for Monday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). The game will be televised on ESPNU and ESPN3. Fans not in attendance can listen to the action on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network and its flagship TK99 (99.5 FM). Live audio will be available on CuseTV on Cuse.com. What to Watch For – Syracuse (6-4)
1. Freshman Kaleb Joseph posted his first career double-double at Villanova. He scored 10 points and dished out a season-best 10 assists. Joseph now ranks second in the ACC in assists, averaging 5.50 per game.
2. Junior Michael Gbinije recorded career highs in points (18) and rebounds (8) and tied his career best with five assists at Villanova. Since joining the starting lineup against St. John's, Gbinije is averaging 11.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
3. Sophomore Tyler Roberson reached double figures in scoring for the second consecutive game in Syracuse's setback at Villanova. He was 5-for-5 from the field and 1-for-1 from the free throw line for 11 points against the Wildcats. That performance followed his first double-double against Louisiana Tech.

What to Watch For – Colgate (3-8)
1. Colgate had its two-game winning streak snapped in a 63-57 setback at New Hampshire on Dec. 14. The winning streak came after a five-game losing streak, which included losses to Arizona State and Ohio State.
2. Damon Sherman-Newsome and Austin Tillotson lead the Raider offense. Sherman-Newsome averages 14.8 points per game, followed by Tillotson's 12.8 points per contest. Luk Roh is Colgate's leading rebounder, pulling down 6.6 per game, while Tillotson has dished out a team-best 49 assists in 11 games.
3. Matt Langel is in his third season at the helm of the Colgate program. Previously, he spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Temple. Langel is a graduate of Penn where he helped the Quakers to two Ivy League titles and NCAA Tournament appearances.

THE SERIES
Monday's game marks the 167th meeting between the two schools. The Orange owns a 121-45 advantage in the series. Syracuse has won the last 48 games against the Raiders, including last year's 69-50 victory in the Carrier Dome. Colgate's last win against the Orange was a 67-63 triumph on Feb. 24, 1962.
