SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse returns to the court for the first time in six days on Sunday, Dec. 28 when it hosts Long Beach State. The squads will square off at 2 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.

Tickets for Sunday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). The game will be televised on ESPNU and ESPN3. Fans not in attendance can listen to the action on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network and its flagship TK99 (99.5 FM). Live audio will be available on CuseTV on Cuse.com. What to Watch For – Syracuse (7-4)
1. Redshirt junior Trevor Cooney is heating up from the outside. In his last three games, Cooney is 20-for-45 (.444) from three-point range. Cooney is now tied for seventh in the ACC in three-pointers made (2.18 per game) and ranks ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.353).
2. Senior Rakeem Christmas posted his third double-double of the season in Syracuse's win against Colgate. He tallied 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Christmas leads the team in both categories this season.
3. Sophomore Ron Patterson came off the bench and scored a career-high 13 points against Colgate. He was 5-for-9 from the field, including 3-for-6 from three-point range.

What to Watch For – Long Beach State (5-8)
1. Long Beach State will try to snap a four-game losing streak when it takes on Syracuse. The 49ers are looking for their first road victory of the season (0-7).
2. Mike Caffey leads the Long Beach State offense, averaging 17.8 points per game. He also ranks first on the team in assists (47) and steals (22). Caffey is also the 49ers biggest threat from three-point range, having connected on 29-of-58 attempts this season.
3. Dan Monson is in his eighth year at the helm of the Long Beach State program. He has guided the 49ers to three Big West titles, six straight top three finishes, two NIT appearances and a trip to the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Previously, Monson served as head coach at Minnesota and Gonzaga.
