CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- First place in the ACC standings is at stake Saturday, Mar. 1 when No. 4/5 Syracuse take on No. 12/11 Virginia in Charlottesville. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. in the JPJ Arena. The Cavaliers sit atop the league standings with a 15-1 conference record, while the Orange is in second place with a 13-2 mark.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (26-2, 13-2)
1. Saturday's game is the third consecutive road game for the Orange as it ends the regular season playing four of its last five away from the Carrier Dome. Syracuse is 7-1 in road games this season.
2. Freshman Tyler Ennis led all scorers with 20 points in SU's victory at Maryland. He is one of four players averaging double figures in scoring for the Orange, contributing 12.0 points per game. Ennis has scored in double figures in 20 of 28 contests. His season high of 28 points came against California in Maui Classic.
3. Baye Moussa Keita has been a force on the boards since recovering from a leg injury. Keita missed two games and played only two minutes against Boston College. Against Duke, he tied his season high with nine rebounds, including eight on the offensive end. Keita followed that performance with eight rebounds at Maryland.
What to Watch For – Virginia (24-5, 15-1)
1. Syracuse will face one of the hottest teams in the country on Saturday. Virginia has won 12 in a row, which has improved its record to 24-5. The Cavaliers are 15-1 in league play, with its only setback coming at Duke on Jan. 13. That was UVa's last loss.
2. Virginia leads the nation in scoring defense, allowing 54.7 points per game. The Cavaliers also lead the ACC in field goal percentage defense (.382), rebounding margin (+6.8) and defensive rebounds (29.1 per game).
3. Tony Bennett is in his fifth year at the helm of the Virginia program. He has guided the Cavaliers to a record of 100-58. The 2007 National Coach of the Year came to Charlottesville after spending the previous three seasons as the head coach at Washington State.
THE SERIES
Syracuse owns a 3-1 advantage in the series with Virginia. The Cavaliers won the first meeting between the two schools in the 1984 NCAA Tournament. Most recently, Syracuse swept two games when the teams met in back-to-back campaigns in 2007-08 and 2008-09. The Orange defeated the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, 70-68, on Dec. 5, 2007 and then beat UVa, 73-70, in the Carrier Dome on Feb. 28, 2008.
