Kaleb Joseph and Chris McCullough wrapped up their high school basketball careers last week and set their sights on heading to Syracuse this summer.
Â
Both Joseph and McCullough led their prep schools to the post season. Joseph and Cushing Academy won a second consecutive New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Class AA Championship. McCullough's IMG Academy squad made it to the semifinal round of the National Prep Championship.
Â
Both Joseph and McCullough were recently named HoopScoop All-Americans with McCullough earning third team honors while Joseph was placed on the sixth team of the 20-team list.

Â
Cushing was able to advance to the finals due to Joseph's play down the stretch in the semifinal round against No. 1 seed St. Andrews. His timely three-point basket in the final minute helped the Penguins prevail, 67-64.
Joseph will play one more game before his senior year is over, however, as he was invitied to play in the first annual 2eZ Charity All-Star Game at East Greenwich High School in Rhode Island.
Â
McCullough, who hails from Bronx, N.Y. and enrolled in IMG Academy during his senior year, made it to the final four of the prestigious National Prep Championship. In the quarterfinal round he scored 22 points and grabbed nine boards in the triple overtime win against Hargrave Military Academy but was only able to tally eight points in the semifinal loss to St. Thomas More. McCullough went into the tournament averaging 22 points and nine rebounds for IMG.
