Day 1 At The ACC Tournament

Wednesday started with a couple of hours in Syracuse before going to the airport. After we de-iced, we took off and were off for Greensboro. Most of the team plays the Pokemon game on their iPad's and iPhone's. Seems like everyone is addicted! Ha Ha! When we arrived in Greensboro we headed to the hotel near the airport. As soon as we arrived in our rooms we had to leave for practice at UNC Greensboro.Â
Practice was the same as usual. We started with 10 minutes of warm up and then did 30 minutes of groups. Every position practices with the specific coaches. After that we did two lines, three lines, three against two, and two against one. After that we repeated our offense, went through it for 10 minutes and finally played for 10-20 minutes. Practice ended and all of us were back at playing Pokemon!
After practice we were very excited to get (chicken) sandwiches and waffle fries. We were very excited because we do not have (this kind of sandwich place) in Syracuse. On the bus we were all chatting, eating, playing Pokemon, and watching the Miami and V-Tech game on the bus TV. We expected very warm weather, but were very surprised by the thunderstorm that hit hard while we were on the bus.
At 6:45 we went to dinner as a team which is unusual. We normally eat at the hotel when we travel. We went to a popular steakhouse in Greensboro. Most people ordered Barbecue ribs, but the Lobster was very popular too. After dinner we headed back to the hotel to relax and my lovely girlfriend brought my roommate and I hot doughnuts (from another shop we don't have in Syracuse!).
