Senior C.J. Fair was named an Associated Press All-American on Monday, March 31, officially closing out his storybook career at Syracuse.
Fair, who earned a spot on the third team, is the first Orange man to receive AP All-America recognition since 2010 when Wesley Johnson was on the first team.
For Fair, the honor is his fifth postseason All-America nod after being being selected as a Second Team All-American by USA Today, U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the National Association of Basketball Coaches, and to the Lute Olson All-America team.
Fair led the Orange in his senior campaign with 16.5 point per game and was a close second with 6.4 rebounds per contest. He scored in double-figures in 32-of-34 outings and posted four double-doubles. Fair completed his collegiate career ranking 15th all-time in scoring at SU with 1,660 points and tied for third in games played with 143.
