'Cuse Up Two Spots in Both National Polls

Orange No. 7 in media rankings, tied for No. 8 in USILA poll
BALTIMORE – The Syracuse men's lacrosse team moved up two spots in both the media rankings and coaches' poll this week. The Orange went from ninth to seventh in the Warrior/Inside Lacrosse Division I Poll and from 10th to eighth in the USILA Division I Top 20, released Monday, March 31.

Syracuse earned 322 points in the media rankings after Saturday's 11-10 win against Notre Dame. In the USILA poll, the Orange garnered 191 points to tie Virginia for the eighth position.

The top six in both polls are the same. Loyola is No. 1 followed by Cornell, Duke, Maryland, North Carolina and Denver.

Syracuse hosts Binghamton on Wednesday, April 2. Faceoff between the Orange and Bearcats is slated for 7 p.m. at the Carrier Dome.
