Seeds, Game Times Set for ACC Championship

Syracuse receives third seed in conference tournament
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syracuse is the No. 3 seed for the 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship, which gets underway Friday, April 25 at PPL Park located in Chester, Pa., right outside of Philadelphia.

The Orange (9-3, 2-3 ACC) will play No. 2 seed Duke (11-2, 4-1 ACC) in the first semifinal game at 5 p.m. Syracuse has won five straight games since a 21-7 regular-season loss to the Blue Devils back on March 23.
Maryland holds the top seed. The Terrapins (10-2, 4-1 ACC) will play No. 4 seed Notre Dame (6-5, 2-3 ACC) in the second semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Maryland earned the No. 1 seed by virtue of its head-to-head win against Duke during the regular season. The Terrapins topped Notre Dame, 12-8, in both teams' regular-season finale on April 19.

The semifinals and championship game will air live on ESPNU and will be available on the WatchESPN app.

Virginia and North Carolina will play in the ACC Showcase on Saturday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. That game will air on ESPN3.
