Orange Duo Named to MLL All-Star Team

Kevin Drew, Joel White to play for Team MLL when it takes on U.S.
BOSTON – Former Orange standouts Kevin Drew and Joel White were named to the 2014 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) All-Star Team on Tuesday, June 10. Drew is a defensive midfielder for the Charlotte Hounds and White is a long-stick middie for the Rochester Rattlers.

The pair joins 22 other pro lacrosse players who will compete against Team USA in this year's all-star game Saturday, June 26 at Harvard Stadium in Cambridge, Mass.
Drew will be making his first all-star appearance. He has 10 ground balls in six games for the Hounds.
White has 36 ground balls for Rochester this season, the most in the league for a non-faceoff specialist. He also has one goal and one assist in six contests.
In addition to White and Drew, former Syracuse greats Matt Abbott, John Galloway and JoJo Marasco will take the field at Harvard Stadium that night. Abbott, Galloway and Marasco were named to the 30-man U.S. roster in February for this year's Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship and will suit up for Team USA.
