Johnson, Roberson Join U.S. Entry In Four Nation's Cup

Syracuse sophomores B.J. Johnson and Tyler Roberson are members of the USA East Coast team that will compete in the 2014 Four Nations Cup in Europe during August.
Johnson and Roberson are both coming off their freshman campaigns at Syracuse. Johnson saw action in 10 games while Roberson participated in 20 and made one start as a rookie.
In addition to the American squad, national teams from Estonia and Slovakia and a French club will participate. Games are scheduled for August 4-7.
Lycoming coach Guy Rancourt, who has taken teams overseas since 2006, heads up the USA East Coast coaching staff that also features South Carolina coach Frank Martin. DeMatha High School head coach Mike Jones and Concordia (Wis.) assistant coach Dave Cooks round out the group.
In addition to the two Syracuse performers, the roster includes Damonte Dodd (Maryland), Mike Gesell (Iowa), Granville Gittens (Baruch), Dusty Hannahs (Arkansas), Tyler Johnson (South Carolina), John Monkam (Lycoming), Sindarius Thornwell (South Carolina) and Adam Woodbury (Iowa).

Syracuse's Rakeem Christmas and Michael Gbinije participated in the tournament last summer.
