
Holy Cross On 2014-15 'Cuse Itinerary

SYRACUSE, NY – A rivalry that dates back to the 1949-50 season will be renewed when Syracuse hosts Holy Cross in the Carrier Dome on Friday, November 28.
Syracuse owns a slim, 13-12 edge in the all-time series. Holy Cross claimed 12 of the first 20 matchups, while the Orange has won the four most recent pairings with the Crusades. The two program last met on November 27, 2006 – Syracuse emerged with a 72-64 victory.
Holy Cross was 20-14 overall and earned a spot in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament in 2013-14. The Crusaders defeated Brown in the first round of the CIT before losing to Yale. Milan Brown enters his fifth season as Holy Cross head coach. He owns a 55-67 record with the Crusaders.
Senior forward Malcolm Miller, who earned third-team All-Patriot League a season ago, is a top returning performer for Holy Cross. He averaged 11.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in 2013-14.
SU earned its sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth and finished with a 28-5 overall record, last season. The Orange won 25 straight games to start the season and was ranked first in both national polls for three weeks.
Coach Jim Boeheim, owner of the second most coaching victories in Division I history (948), will guide his alma mater for the 39th season.
Deposits for 2014-15 Men's Basketball season tickets are on sale now for only $125 each, and provide priority seating before the general public on-sale which starts on September 3. Individual game tickets will go on sale in mid-October.
